Swanley Bridge Marina is on the Llangollen Canal a few miles west of Nantwich, close to Burland and not far from Hurleston Junction, where the Llangollen Canal meets the Shropshire Union. It's a popular base for canal holidays, but it's in open countryside, so a taxi is the easiest way to get there with luggage and supplies.

Swanley Bridge Marina lies on the Llangollen Canal near Ravensmoor, a short distance from Hurleston Junction where the Llangollen Canal leaves the Shropshire Union main line. It's a popular starting point for trips towards Wrenbury, Whitchurch, Ellesmere and the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – but it's a rural spot with no station or regular bus to the marina.
